Soul Singing - Priestley Wood, Suffolk
I have so much to give but the wolves tear my soul to pieces. Let me go. I just want to sing and give to the world.
I nearly posted these words the other night. I felt broken, spiritually drained. I stared at the words for ages, unable to press send. I woke up yesterday morning and looked in the mirror. Who am I? I am no one. A spirit who loves to sing.
So I walked amongst the trees and sang to a drone.
I have decided to call this ‘Soul Singing’. I looked around me and let the sounds escape my soul.
Priestley Wood, Suffolk, April 2019. Connecting to our source and healing the soul amongst the trees. Thank you to the birds for guiding this improvisation.
I hope this brings you some form of beauty and connection, as it has done for me.
