Izzy’s Daughter is an independent music artist from Suffolk in the UK. Surrounded by dark ancient woodland and haunting shorelines, she finds solace in the otherworldly, unapologetic for her love of Luna and the tides as violins and piano cradle delicate vocals filled with melancholy for a world that has passed.
Singing in unknown languages on the cliff tops and deep within the forests, Izzy’s Daughter sings on the edge of other worlds. Izzy's Daughter is currently recording and filming her wild singing experiences across the British Isles, so expect an album release in the future. In the meantime, these performances can be watched on Youtube.
The latest album 'Luna' follows a four-track session for BBC Introducing in Suffolk and a successful three years that saw Izzy's Daughter perform all over the country in support of her debut, including a triumphant set at Latitude Festival 2015 and receiving radio airplay across BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing.
Izzy’s Daughter also creates ethereal wall hangings in the macrame style, collecting wood from the ancient forests of East Anglia. Please note that the online shop is currently closed due to the Weird & Wonderful event and will reopen late May 2019.
